Relax into our sturdy cotton Traveller Overalls; a classic overall design that never goes out of style. They wear in long before they wear out, and will be with you for years due to the long lasting woven slub cotton. Never lose your bits and pieces again with the ample pocket situation, and gardeners delight: they have a tool carry strip!
- Wash separately (or with other like colours), as your piece will bleed a little colour in the beginning.
- Wash only in cold water. Warm or hot washes will make your piece bleed more colour. Machine wash is fine.
- Dry only in the shade. Direct sunlight will fade your piece.
- Do not soak - this will cause dye to transfer around the garment, causing patchiness or stains.
- Ironing is not necessary, simply hang your piece correctly when drying.

Customers praised these overalls as "so comfortable" with lovely quality fabric and accurate sizing. The straight-leg design features multiple pockets and adjustable straps. Many customers bought multiple pairs. However, several noted significant dye bleeding in initial washes, causing color fading and transfer. Some mentioned the length runs long for shorter customers.
Oh so comfy! Been living in them. Great colour and fabric is lovely. My husband bought me them for Christmas. Be careful though he put them in the wash with my son's pokemon shirt and it is now pink. Possibly should have bought the medium.
Description is accurate, lovely quality, accurate sizing per the chart and model photos, efficiently shipped. I'm going to change the buttons as I don't think the coconut style of button is a good match for how chic these overalls are - with a nicer button they'd be as versatile as a jumpsuit.

Usually size small overalls are often too short on me, but these were perfect. Hopefully in the future you may do some brighter colours in the Travellers Overall.
The dye bleeds a lot in the first few washes. Otherwise comfortable and accurately sized.

I bought size XL, I am usually sz 16 up top and a size 14 bottoms, I could have gone a size smaller. I want to buy more now, very happy.
Lovely fabric. My only disappointment was the colour is more muddy than it appears on my different devices. Not quite right for my skin tone but I know that it is very difficult to get that right and I can lift the colour by what I wear underneath. Thank you for making beautiful quality pieces without a huge price tag.
I just love overalls and the ones from Surya are the best I have found. Lots of pockets, I get the larger sizes ao I can wear them over jumpers etc
I've been looking for soft, non-denim dungarees for some time and these are soft and beautifully styled. I'm a size 12 and bought the large, which is perfect with room to move. Anything smaller would probably be a bit too small. I followed the instructions when washing and had no problems. Also love the buttons.

I love these overalls BUT they bleed colour like crazy!! I have the green and blue. The green is no longer green, more like a green tinted grey. The blue are very very faded.
Hi Bee, while yes our loomed cotton pieces do bleed some colour in the first few washes, this will not fade your items. The reason for an item fading is due to drying it in direct sunlight.
We do provide a lot of information about our low impact dyes - including washing / drying information with each order sent out. We understand some people aren't used to caring for low impact dyes, and we want your piece to last as long as possible. Please make sure you wash in cold water only and always dry them in the shade from now on.

Quality is always good. Very long and had to take up a fair bit (I'm ,5ft 2) as well as adjusting strap length but that's always a challenge I have. I got Xtra large as I wanted a loose fit ...I'm between a 12-14 ...and I think that was about right...they will still be a good loose fit when I'm at my usual size 12 ...but Xtra large would be 'just rights at size 14....i love them.
My long search for the 'right' overalls ended when I received these and tried them on. They fit perfectly around the bottom like a lose fitting pant. And the bib section is comfortable and fits perfectly too. They are a bit long for me but I planned to wear them rolled up anyway with my hi tops. I'm a size 16 (Au) The material is comfortable and breezy, nice in the hot weather. These are flattering even though they are relaxed, exactly what I've been after for ages.
This is just so comfortable, and the colour is beautiful. I am 173cm/68kg and usually wear a 12 comfortably. I bought the L for a bit of extra baggyness and I think if I went the M it would have been a bit snug. I can see myself wearing this several days a week (aka when I'm not in my work gear)

We offer a 30 day return policy on full priced items that are unworn with tags still on. Choose from a refund, exchange or store credit (with no expiry date).
Sale items can be returned for store credit only. Final sale items cannot be returned.
