What’s the difference between low crotch, drop crotch and harem pants?
Low crotch and drop crotch are two names for pants with a lower-sitting crotch, giving a roomy fit and lots of freedom to move. Harem pants are roomy and gathered at the ankle. Most of our styles combine both: a low crotch with elastic at the ankle.
Do you make them for men?
Yes. Our men’s Drop Crotch Trousers are sturdy, medium-weight cotton with elastic at the ankle. Our men’s Drop Crotch Shorts are lightweight and breathable, with elastic at the mid leg. Both slip on easily and have three pockets: one hip and two cargo-style leg pockets.
How do I put them on?
Our drop crotch pants and shorts slip on, thanks to the elastic at the rear waist. Coconut buttons run down the left leg, with a concealed zip underneath.
Pants or shorts: which should I choose?
Our Drop Crotch Pants are full length in sturdier, medium-weight cotton, with elastic at the ankle. Our Drop Crotch Shorts are breezy and lightweight, with elastic at the leg, perfect for warm days.
Can I wear them in winter?
Yes. Our Drop Crotch Pants and men’s Drop Crotch Trousers are breathable, medium-weight cotton made for all seasons. Pair them with a singlet in summer, or boots and a jacket or scarf in winter.
What are pintuck low crotch pants?
Our Pintuck Low Crotch pants have gentle pin-tucking all over, a light stone-washed finish, a shirred waistband, elastic at the ankles and two hip pockets. Their super generous sizing fits most people. The men’s Low Crotch Pants share the pintuck detail, and can be worn long or pulled up to just under the knee.
