Lokta Paper Gift Wrapping Sheets

All our Lokta paper items are produced from the shrub Daphne papyracea. After harvesting the inner bark, the high altitude plant regenerates and continues to provide more fibre year after year. A true sustainable eco paper, lokta paper has been produced in Nepal for over 1000 years. The designs on our lokta paper sheets have all been printed by hand in cooperatives employing disadvantaged members of Nepali society, women of low caste in particular
